If you are navigating challenges with food and body image, you do not have to do it alone. We invite you to join a supportive, confidential community of individuals working together to heal their relationship with food and themselves. Led by Alison Ross, LMFT, CEDS, this eating recovery group provides a compassionate, non-judgmental space to share your experiences, learn from others, and give and receive meaningful support. Here, we focus on understanding the root of our behaviors while building practical skills for lasting recovery. Sessions cover a range of essential topics designed to foster healing and self-discovery. Together, we will discuss: - The connection between stress and appetite - Practical tools and coping strategies for recovery - Navigating and reframing negative self-talk - Understanding cultural pressures and weight stigma - Nutrition and the core principles of intuitive eating - Emotional regulation techniques for difficult moments - Mindfulness practices to stay grounded - Cultivating deep self-compassion Group Guidelines and Expectations To ensure a safe environment for everyone, this group is strictly confidential. We ask all members to approach conversations with empathy, respect, and an open mind. This is a judgment-free zone where all bodies and experiences are honored. Take the Next Step Healing is a journey, and community makes a difference. If you want to improve your eating patterns and explore your relationship with food in a safe, guided setting, we would love to welcome you.
